PSA about fast-food corporations advertising to children.
After having done a vast amount of research on food in Metro Detroit, I found myself fascinated with the amount of fast-food restaurants there actually are. This led me to think about what kind of effect that has on our culture, and also who it impacts. Then I started to think about the amount fast-food advertising is around.
I created this project because I felt that fast-food advertising tactics were mostly targeted towards children, and thy corporations exploit their innocence. The result of that creates a generation of children and later adults that live unhealthy lifestyles. The audience for this video are parents. I wanted to create a melancholic video, getting parents to think about the decisions they make for their child's well-being using the visuals and music I created.
